Lily had always wanted more than one child, and her parents increasing age was all the reason she needed to justify having another one so soon. Her husband, Dewayne, did not object. Not one bit.
Chapter 67 – Autumn Starts to Grow Up
December 12, 2009Although William had moved out, there was still plenty to keep the Rose family occupied. For one, baby Autumn was about to leave her baby years behind, and become a full grown toddler.
Chapter 66 – Change is in the Air
December 2, 2009The birth of baby Autumn was exciting for Lily and her husband. It seemed the entire family was enthused as well. They wanted to take turns giving her bottles, changing diapers, and putting her to sleep.
I’m Not Dead! (Plus a Review of The Sims 3: World Adventures)
December 1, 2009Okay, okay. I’ve been a very bad Sims 3 Legacy blogger. I almost got to the finish line and stopped. I promise there are good reasons, and that I’m sorry. The short version is that my significant other got injured at work and I picked up some rather demanding freelance jobs to compensate. Writing for pleasure had to take a back seat to writing for pay. However, things have leveled out a bit, and I think I can wrap this whole Legacy up.
Speaking of writing for pay, I’ve been contributing articles to a great new site called Alltern8.com. One such article was an official review of The Sims 3: World Adventures expansion pack. I hope you all will help support my freelance efforts and go read it! (Link)
And yes, you can expect to see the new expansion influence the end of the Rose Family Legacy story!
Thanks for bugging me about updating this. I might not have felt inspired to finish this if not for the e-mails and comments asking me to come back and finish. I can’t promise the updates will be super frequent, but they will happen.
Chapter 65 – Generation Nine is Born
October 18, 2009Lily and Dewayne wanted a family of their own, and even though they were young, they decided to start trying. Lily’s mother and father did want grandchildren, but they also had hoped that their daughter would wait a bit longer before having kids. Lily had just started her music career, and her parents didn’t want to see her give up new work opportunities due to being pregnant. But Lily and Dewayne’s careers were far from their minds at the moment.
Chapter 64 – William is a Loner, Lily is a Social Butterfly
October 16, 2009Ever since William was young, he had been a solitary individual. He had close relationships with his adopted family, but struggled building relationships with his peers at school. He enjoyed spending time alone, and just didn’t seem to enjoy socializing with people. His fathers, Benjamin and Wesley, were a bit worried, but William seemed happy. He just didn’t like being around a lot of people. And, not surprisingly, this didn’t change when he became an adult.
Posts Still Intermittent
October 15, 2009I have to continue apologizing for the lack of updates. My S.O. is still suffering from his injuries, which means my time and dedication is focused on him. I do hope to finish up the blog, as I get closer to generation 10. I’m definitely not giving up! There should be an entry up tomorrow, with another one up over the weekend.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Chapter 63 – From Bad to Worse
October 11, 2009Seeing Lily so happy brought a lot of joy to the members of the Rose family. Lily had always been able to light up a room, but lately her happiness and enthusiasm had really been contagious. But that was all about to change…
Chapter 62 – Lily Meets “The One”
October 10, 2009It seemed like only yesterday that Lily Rose was learning to walk and talk. But the youngest member of the Rose family was blossoming into quite the young woman. In fact, she had just recently met a young man at school, one whom she seemed to have a romantic inkling toward (at least in her parent’s opinion). Lily spent an awful lot of time talking to him on the phone. Beverly and Gabriel knew their little girl was going to asking to go out on dates soon enough.
Sorry Again…
October 9, 2009Sorry about the lack of posts. Between work, writing for my other blog, and my beloved S.O. getting injured, I am a bit behind on getting entries together. I hope to get a post up this weekend at the very least!
